Like I said earlier, the weather has been quite inconsistent and I am really bored with my summer clothes. So I wanted to wear boots and to make it more comfortable for me, I wear the leather shorts and the short sleeves cardi can still keep me warm.
My work is just a block away from the DvF sample sale place, and one day (many months ago) I stopped by after every women in NYC had gone thru the sample sale items. I picked this up, it was underneath some other stuff and it was such a treasure hunt by luck, it's cashmere for $50!! DvF, you made my day.
I got the boots on ebay. IM boots was about $1200 (I don't know how much exactly sorry) retail and I got them for $850, the thing was we did it outside of ebay that's why she gave me the deal. I sent her a message with my offered price. She agreed to my offer off ebay. Since I was paying with paypal and I knew I was covered. And I also paid with credit card so there really wasn't that much risk towards it. I am not suggesting doing off ebay though, just my experience. I think I took a risk and thank God the seller was a honest seller and very reasonable...I will def purchase from her again. I am a US size 7 and this pair of boots is 38. They are a little big for me, I will have to wear thick socks and buy a pair of thicker insole so my feet won't slide in them. People said Dana runs small and I am not so sure...may be this pair would be perfect for US7.5.
