I got the fishnet vest on tessabit.com which is an international site (Italy) for free shipping which turned out to be a good deal for me. The vest was $123 but the black is $144, blue/green are $127, the duty were included so no surprise charges later. I got the package in less than 3 days. The free shipping is going to end on Sunday but the total has to be over $160. Even though the modeling pictures paired the blue/green vest with black tank but I would say pairing with white tank would look so much better especially the blue one. The one I am wearing is size M and I am a US 2...I like the fishnet to relax, I don't want the fishnet pattern to stretch...just looks more chic this way. 

I suggest getting the layering tank (underneath) from either Hanes or Club Monaco, get it here for $29, it's really really soft and this is the sale price, original was $39....I got the black and the gray in the store in size M because the S were sold out and you can size up a litttle if your size is not available.....but all sizes are still available online.

It was a very hot and humid Saturday, I think I never stopped sweating the moment I stepped out of my comfortable home. But got to spend time with good friends, good food good conversations, just having a good time...what more could I ask...^_^

Another weekend outing with dear friends, the weather was just too gorgeous not to have a stroll in the city after Sunday service.
The sandals were quite comfy if I got wide feet...I had a lot of padding underneath and they kind of hurt my toes because the padding were too thick right at the toes touching the edge of them. Sometimes Zara shoes are hit or miss...they really photography well though.......sigh...

Saturday turned out to be so beautiful and summer like already. I had brunch with a dear old friend and her husband...can't believe we've known each other for 10 years already. Time flies. Friendship is like wine, the older the better....

Club Monaco vest

Like I said before, my work is surrounded by retail and I stopped by Club Monaco after work on Friday. There were so many lovely pieces but I saw this vest which is great for layering, I can see myself using it many times.
Got it on sale for $49, original price was $149.50. ^_^

I finally caved and bought the C/E leopard jeans and I really loved them. I wish the gray was a darker shade of gray but I am happy with the way they are. They run a little big so I've heard so I get a size smaller and they were a little too snug but not bad....I think I got the right size, next size would be a little too loose. Got them on piperlime.com for full price and after the weekend they went on sale, so I wrote email to them and asked for price match and was granted...YAY!!
I think this pair of Zara sandals will be my summer favorite.....

It's been a long time to do a pairing post....the weather was quite humid today but luckily it's quite warm and no rain. I've always loved the combo of red with black/white.....this pair of Zara was just so perfect with any jeans I wear. This blazer/jacket was so perfect in terms of cut, it just makes me look so smart...

I really like my new job, the first week took some adjustment for me and this week was so much better and I have a great team to work with. Life is good so far...^_^

I met with a new friend today and she's gracious enough to take some photos for me....the world is so global now and I am glad it brings people closer.

Oh my, Zara is on fire this season, this is another little jacket that caught my eyes from the TRF lookbook. I am not sure if I am getting this one but I sure will get this style in black.....

My new work place is surrounded by retails and I popped in to Club Monaco couple of days ago and thought to share with you two pieces I thought really great.

This little jacket comes in cream and gray. The material felt like linen and great piece for spring summer. But CM price point is a little high, this jacket is listed for $249, get it here

This open knit sweater is light and chic, reminds me of Isabel Marant open knit sweater but about a fraction of the price for $149.50, they have a V-neck in the store as well, get it here.
